1.1 Pre-installation Check: Ensure your network is functional before powering up the Deeper Connect device.
1.2 Choose one of the following setup options based on your network setup

A. Standalone Modem (a device with a thin yellow wire plugged into the back of the device) and Router:Find the Ethernet cable that connects from your modem (usually from the Internet port) to the WAN port of your router, unplug it from the router’s WAN port and connect it into either one of the Ethernet ports on the Deeper Connect device. Connect another ethernet cable from the remaining Ethernet port on the Deeper Connect device to the WAN port of your router.
B. Integrated Modem/Router All-in-one device: A separate standalone router is required. Connect an Ethernet cable from the LAN port (internet port) of the Integrated Modem/Router All-in-one device to either one of the Ethernet ports on the Deeper Connect device. Connect another Ethernet cable from the remaining Ethernet port on Deeper Connect to the WAN port of your separate router in order to connect to the network via the new WiFi router.
C. When you’re traveling and cannot bring a router with you (ex. Hotel): Connect an Ethernet cable from the hotel’s internet port to the Deeper Connect device, and connect another Ethernet cable from the Deeper Connect device to the network socket of your laptop computer. (This method is only applicable to laptop computers with Ethernet ports, or to be used with a USB to Ethernet adapter)
1.3 Plug in the power cord (ensure the plug is firmly connected). The device will begin to flash and after 2-4 minutes the flashes will slow down and your network will be ready to go.
